NORTH CAROLINA \u2013 Feb. 25, 2026 \u2013 <\/b>The Secret of Crystal Mountain<\/span><\/i><\/a>, the platforming adventure RPG starring a cat in a magical world from solo developer Chris Rosenthal at <\/span>Revolutron Games<\/span><\/a>, sojourns toward secrets on PC and Mac via Steam and Nintendo Switch in 2027. A new gameplay trailer debuts today, highlighting the charming, mysterious setting, RPG and 3D Platformer-inspired mechanics, and overhauled visuals.<\/span><\/p>

The Secret of Crystal Mountain <\/span><\/i>will debut a playable demo at PAX East (March 26-29, 2026) for aspiring adventurers eager to explore its enchanting world.<\/span><\/p>

Guide Maroon, a Delivery Cat bringing a letter to the top of Crystal Mountain Isle, on a journey inspired by classic action-adventure titles with modern design sensibilities. Despite being a seasoned traveler, Maroon quickly learns this delivery is unlike any before. The power of Crystal Mountain Isle, once the source of all known magic, now fades in the aftermath of war.<\/span><\/p>

Maroon and his trusty avian companion take up the mantle of adventurers and embark on a quest to restore elemental crystals and return magic to its former power.<\/span><\/p>

Explore a vibrant landscape full of rich secrets to uncover. Utilize an expanding arsenal of special items and abilities to progress across the island. Reach tantalizing new heights utilizing a double-jump, climb cliffs to sniff out treasure, and glide across the skies with ethereal wings.<\/span><\/p>

Interact with a colorful cast of characters as Maroon uncovers more of the extraordinary island. Seek guidance from Malinda, a local witch and leader of the island\u2019s residents, upgrade Maroon\u2019s sword at the local blacksmith, and learn new songs for the magical Spirit Flute by communing with the island\u2019s villagers.<\/span><\/p>
